Asociación Rescate Verde is getting ready to welcome youth workers from across Europe for an inspiring week of learning and action!
The countdown has begun — in just one week, our Erasmus+ project “Protect the Future with Climate and Disaster Awareness” will officially begin!
From 15 to 21 October 2025, Asociación Rescate Verde will proudly host youth workers from Hungary, Italy, Romania, Turkey and Spain for an international mobility focused on climate change, disaster preparedness, and sustainability.
This upcoming training course will bring together 25 passionate youth workers who are ready to exchange ideas, share experiences, and develop innovative ways to tackle today’s most urgent environmental challenges.
What the Project Is About
The project aims to raise awareness among young people about climate change, natural disasters, and sustainability, while encouraging them to take an active role in building a greener and safer future.
Through interactive workshops, presentations, and group work, participants will:
Learn about the causes and consequences of climate change and how to respond effectively,
Explore creative ways to promote recycling and sustainable living,
Gain practical experience in disaster preparedness and emergency management,
Strengthen their leadership and advocacy skills to inspire others in their communities,
Build strong international networks that will continue long after the project ends.
Importantly, the project is designed to be inclusive — welcoming participants from diverse backgrounds, including those with fewer opportunities. Together, they will learn, collaborate, and shape solutions that make a real difference.
Working Together Across Borders
One of the most exciting aspects of this project is the intercultural collaboration it promotes.
Participants from five different countries will come together to share their experiences and perspectives, fostering mutual respect, understanding, and cooperation.
This diversity will enrich discussions and inspire new ways of thinking about environmental and social issues. By working together, participants will not only learn from one another but also develop a shared sense of global responsibility.
What to Expect Next Week
The programme will include a variety of engaging activities such as:
Ice-breaker and team-building sessions,
Presentations and group discussions on climate change and sustainability,
A creative recycling workshop,
A field visit to local institutions working on disaster management,
Practical emergency preparedness drills,
Daily reflection and evaluation sessions,
A closing workshop on the Youthpass certificate and its value for career development.
The final day will also include a city tour, giving participants the chance to explore the local culture and environment while celebrating the end of a meaningful learning journey.
Why It Matters
As environmental challenges continue to grow, empowering young people with knowledge, skills, and motivation is more important than ever.
Through Protect the Future with Climate and Disaster Awareness, Asociación Rescate Verde is helping youth workers become agents of change — individuals who can inspire action, raise awareness, and lead initiatives that make their communities more sustainable and resilient.
Together, we can turn awareness into action and create a more sustainable tomorrow. 🌍💚
