Asociación Rescate Verde focuses on several key areas relevant to environmental sustainability and youth engagement:

1. Environmental Education and Awareness Campaigns: The organization aims to raise awareness about environmental issues such as climate change, deforestation, pollution, and biodiversity loss. This is done through educational campaigns, workshops, and seminars targeting schools, local communities, and youth groups. By emphasizing the importance of sustainable living, waste reduction, and renewable energy, the organization seeks to empower individuals—especially young people—to take action and become environmental advocates within their own communities.

2. Community Engagement in Conservation: The organization places a strong emphasis on involving local communities in environmental conservation efforts. By organizing local clean-up initiatives, reforestation activities, and conservation awareness days, Asociación Rescate Verde aims to foster a sense of collective responsibility for protecting the environment. These activities provide an opportunity for young people to actively participate in hands-on environmental work, contributing to local sustainability and conservation efforts.

3. Capacity Building for Youth and Future Leaders: A key focus of the organization is to empower young people to become future leaders in environmental conservation. Asociación Rescate Verde facilitates youth leadership programs that include training in sustainability practices, project management, and environmental advocacy. Through these programs, youth are equipped with the skills and knowledge to lead environmental initiatives within their communities and on a larger scale. The organization is also keen to collaborate on cross-border projects that promote environmental sustainability and youth mobility, aligning with Erasmus+ goals.

5. Advocacy for Environmental Policies: In addition to grassroots activities, Asociación Rescate Verde is committed to advocating for stronger environmental policies. It plans to work closely with local governments, policy-makers, and other stakeholders to influence environmental legislation and promote sustainability on a policy level. By engaging youth in these advocacy efforts, the organization aims to give young people a voice in environmental policy discussions, encouraging them to take an active role in shaping the future of environmental governance.

  6. Youth Engagement Experience: A key strength of Asociación Rescate Verde is its focus on youth engagement, which is integral to both its mission and        its approach to project implementation. Many of the organization’s founding members have experience in working with youth through educational                programs, youth camps, and leadership training initiatives.
