Stand Together: Bullying Stops Here – Our Partner Project

Asociación Rescate Verde is proud to have participated as a partner in the Erasmus+ youth exchange project “Stand Together: Bullying Stops Here” (Project reference: 2024-3-IT03-KA152-YOU-000277467), coordinated by the Psychological Health Protection Group.

The project took place in Padua, Italy, from June 25 to July 4, 2025, bringing together young participants from five different countries to raise awareness and take action against peer bullying.

🎯 Project Objectives: Standing Together Against Peer Bullying

The main goal of the project was to address the widespread issue of peer bullying, especially in educational and social environments, by empowering young people to recognize, prevent, and respond to it effectively.

Through interactive workshops, discussions, and creative activities, participants explored how bullying affects self-esteem, mental health, and communication among youth.

Key objectives included:

Raising awareness: Helping young people understand the impact of bullying and recognize its signs.

Empowering participants: Encouraging self-expression, solidarity, and confidence through sharing personal experiences.

Developing solutions: Brainstorming and role-playing to find creative, realistic strategies to stop bullying.

Promoting healthy communication: Building respect-based dialogue and empathy among peers.

Encouraging community action: Inspiring participants to share their learning and continue awareness campaigns in their local contexts.

🧩 Activities: Learning, Sharing, and Cultural Exchange

The eight-day exchange was built around non-formal education methods, ensuring active participation and meaningful learning.

Highlights from the program included:

Icebreakers and group-building activities,

Discussions on the causes and effects of bullying with expert input,

Role-playing sessions and workshops on communication and empathy,

A fun “Saying No to Offensiveness” Kahoot competition,

Meetings and interviews with local community members,

Cultural nights and excursions promoting intercultural understanding,

Daily reflection and evaluation sessions to enhance personal growth.

Participants not only learned about bullying prevention but also improved their English, teamwork, and intercultural communication skills.

🌱 Impact and Outcomes

The project created a lasting impact on participants, partner institutions, and local communities.

Participants gained deeper insight into the mechanisms of peer bullying and developed confidence to address such issues in their daily lives.

They also formed a strong international network and committed to follow-up meetings to continue their advocacy for safer, more inclusive communities.

For partner organizations, including Asociación Rescate Verde, the project strengthened cross-border cooperation and opened doors for future initiatives focused on youth empowerment and mental health awareness.
